The NH Selects U15 Girls won the Silver Medal at ARS Laval National Tournament, held in Laval, Quebec on February 20th and 21st.
The Selects played 3 games on Saturday February 20th winning all 3 and gaining 9 points to clinch first place in their pool.
Game 1 the Selects played the host team Etoiles De l'est Devils and won 5-1, leading the way was Nicky (2), Jessica, Kristi and Emily with 1 each.
Game 2 Nicky and Noemi each scored once in a 2-1 victory over Monteuil Cougars.
Game 3 the Selects beat Monteuil Tigers 4-1 on goals by Emily (2), Kristy and Nicky.
On Sunday the Selects played the last of 4 round robin games and tied FC Challengers 1-1 with Kristi scoring the loan goal.
The Selects played Hudson St-Lazare in the Semi Finals and handedly beat them 4-1 thanks to goals by Kristi (2), Jessica and Taylor.
The finals was a rematch vs. Monteuil Cougars and although the Selects dominated the entire game and held them to 0 shots on net vs. 4 great scoring opportunities for themselves the score was 0-0 after regulation time. The Selects settled for the Silver Medal after loosing 3-2 in Penalty shots.
The entire Hotspurs family congratulates Coach Louis, Coach Greg, Manager Todd, Trainer Maria and the Selects - Cassandra, Alyssa, Taylor, Emily, Victoria, Jessica, Sarah, Kristi, Nicky, Noemi, Stephanie, Alyssa and Sydney for an outstanding effort, and for representing our club so well.
