Sponsorship Policy
1. General
1.1. All sponsorship agreements with Club teams must be made through the Club.
1.2. The Club will review and assess all sponsorship applications to ensure they comply with the Club’s Guidelines:
1.2.1. No alcohol or tobacco advertising;
1.2.2. No "disreputable" bars or restaurants; i.e.: strip clubs;
1.2.3. No organization or group that perpetuate any form of discrimination; and
1.2.4. No organization that has been identified by a government agency as using child labor.
1.3. The Club DOES NOT allow teams to enter into sponsorship agreements nor to include sponsor logos or names on the official Club uniform, or other Club Wear.
2. Club Sponsorship
Application Procedure
2.1. Potential sponsors should be referred to the Club’s Director of Public Relations and Promotions.
2.2. The team official dealing with a potential sponsor should provide the applicant with a Sponsorship Program Application and Sponsorship and Advertising Guidelines.
3. Team Sponsorship
The Club allows teams to enter into agreements with organizations or groups that are interested in sponsoring the team. While such sponsorship agreements are between the team and the group or organization the Club reserves the right to approve all such agreements. Prior to entering into an agreement with a sponsor the team must obtain approval of the Club.
Application Procedure
The team manager or coach must send a written request to the Club with the following information:
1. Name of sponsor;
2. Description of sponsor line of business;
3. A blurb of the team's background check of the company;
4. A copy of the sponsor’s logo (a diagram will be sufficient); and
5. A description of the sponsorship agreement - what is expected of the team/player and vice versa.
The Club DOES NOT allow teams to include sponsor logos or names on the official Club uniform.
Placement of sponsor logos and names on team track suits, sports bags or banners is at the discretion of the team.
